Actress Trisha who is currently busy with her bollywood debut film, ‘Khatta Meeta’ opposite Akshay Kumar in the lead has not signed up any Kollywood, Tollywood films recently. There is news that Trisha has signed up a couple of new bollywood films again.

However, the latest news is that Trisha has signed up a new film in Tollywood now, which will have Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the male lead. V.V.Vinayak will be directing this film. More details on cast and crew of the film are awaited. The movie will be going on to the floors after Vinayak completing his Badrinath and Pawan Kalyan finishes up his new film under the direction of Jayanth.

Daggubati Rana who is busy with Rohan Sippy’s bollywood film ‘Dum Maro Dum’ is getting ready for his third film which is said to be bi-lingual one in Telugu and Tamil version. The movie will be directed by Selva Raghavan who had earlier directed films such as ‘7/G Brindavan Colony’, ‘Aadavari Maataluku Ardhaale Verule’ and ‘Yuganiki Okkadu’.

‘Suresh Productions’ is producing this film and the latest news is that producer of the film and Rana’s father, D.Suresh Babu is scouting for a new heroine to cast opposite Rana while director Selva Raghavan is scouting for new locations in India to shot the film.

Darling is a Telugu film, directed by A. Karunakaran. The film stars Prabhas (as Ganesh) and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles while Tamil actor Prabhu plays a key role. The film is to be released on April 23, 2010. Darling movie is produced by Bogavalli Prasad under the banner Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra. G V Prakash had scored the music for Darling. It has art by Ashok, dialogues by Swamy and camera by Andrews. The film has been shot in exotic places of Switzerland, Araku and Hyderabad. The movie has received clean ‘U’ certificate and now the film is releasing with a whopping number of 335 prints out of which 100 are digital prints and the remaining being celluloid prints.

‘Bommarillu’ is one of the best films in Genelia’s career. The actress received lots of great compliments from all the tollywood biggies with this film. Now, the latest news is that the film is being remade into Hindi version and Genelia plays the female lead in Hindi version too. Though Genny had debuted in Bollywood long back, she did not have the right hits except a couple of films.

So, Genelia is keeping many hopes on this film which is titled as ‘It’s my Life’. Siddharth’s role is being played by Harman Baweja while Prakash Raj’s role played Nana Patekar. However, Genelia says that it’s difficult to act in remake films.

The actress said, “It’s very difficult, since I need to ensure that the roles in both versions are different.”

Siddharth, Shruthi Haasan’s new socio fantasy film under the direction of K Prakash has been titled as ‘Yodha’. Mohan Babu’s daughter, Manchu Laxmi Prasanna will be seen in a negative role in the film. Raghavendra Rao and Walt Disney Company are producing this film. The film-makers are planning to release the film in January 2011.

The story is all about a kingdom ‘Angarajyam’ and its people and their approach. Sources say “A witch (Manchu Lakshmi) tries to sabotage the kingdom “Angarajyam” and in the process a nine year old (Baby Harshita) becomes important and the hero (Siddharth) puts all his efforts to save the child from the ill effects of the witch. Shruti Hassan plays the role of a gypsy girl who falls in love with hero.”

Other supporting cast of the film includes Baby Harshita, Dr Brahmanandam, Allari Ravi Babu, Ali, etc.
