It is known that actress Rashmika Mandanna and Rakshit Shetty engaged back in 2017. But families of both the actors have decided to call off the engagement due to some reasons. The actress has made it clear that it was a mutual decision taken by everyone in the family. Since then, Rashmika and Rakshit have not shared screen space together after the movie Kirrik Party.

The latest news is that the makers of Kirrik Party are in plans of making a sequel to this film. They brought a fresh and creative team who is all set to begin shooting for this film. Well, it is said that the heroine has also been finalized for the film, but many from the crew are keen on having Rashmika only as the leading lady of the film. 

So there was a buzz that, Rashmika might likely come back together to share the screen space. But, Rakshit Shetty made a statement that they're looking for a fresh face and this statement made it clear that "Rashmika is not part of the sequel for the Superhit Kirrik Party".
