Mahesh Babu Dookudu movie  is progressing its shoot at rapid pace in  Hyderabad City. Few vital scenes in the film will be picturised at Charminar area of  Hyderabad. Few action scenes are being shoted in the schedule which will continue to Old City in a couple of days. Followed by this schedule, the unit will move to Mumbai for introduction song on mahesh in the film.There is also a buzz that movie might postpone from May to July. Dookudu is touted as a commercial entertainer with mix up of comedy and action.

Samantha is starring opposite Mahesh in the film and Happy Days fame Sonia is playing an important role.  Dookudu is being directed by Srinu vaitla and produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara on the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Thaman has been roped in as the music director for the film.
